最近在读Cruel Optimism觉得与这部电影有颇多呼应之处Lauren Berlant 说当代生活创造了情景喜剧的对应物情景悲剧前者是日常轻微脱轨的小情况创造出无伤大雅的笑料而后者则是日常与它的全面溃散只有一步之遥(The subject’s world is fragile beyond repair, one gesture away from losing all access to sustaining its fantasies.)
documentary, historical fiction, autobiographical. 第一次看这样子的纪录片记录拍摄纪录片的过程结尾说:Sometimes you have to create your own history. The watermelon Woman is fiction.
